Two Soldiers, One Standard Type of Constantine II

A thin layer of silver originally covered this AE4 when it emerged newly struck from the Antioch mint. This author has seen many AE4's with soldiers and standards reverse, but few with as nice an original strike as well as being nicely preserved as this one. This piece cost the author only thirty five dollars at Rudy Schroeter's shop in Palo Alto, California. The coin is about 15 mm in diameter.
