Constantius II Small Bronze - 2 Soldiers, 1 Standard Reverse

GLORIA EXERCITVS Type
This small AE 4 was struck in the name of Constantius II at the Antioch mint after his elevation to the rank of augustus. It catalogs in Sear as number s3998 except for the mintmark. The coin is also catalogued as LRBC as number 1391 with the emperor's head wearing a pearl and rosette diadem. The nice even light brown patina enhances the value of this coin, even though the specimen is quite worn.
