Obverse of This Coin - Coin List

Constantine II Small Bronze - 2 Soldiers, 2 Standards Reverse

GLORIA EXERCITVS Type
This reverse is boldly struck up and sharp, indicating less die wear than the coin in the previous image in this gallery. Also like the previous coin image, the soldier wears an oversized crested helmet. The mintmark in the exergue consists of the Latin letters SMAN with the Greek letter Theta to the right of the N, indicating that this coin originated from the fifth officina of the Antioch mint.
