CONCORDIA

Concordia personifies harmony or concord. Her attributes are cornucopiae, sceptre and patera. She is often seen on coins bearing the legend CONCORDIA MILITVM or a similar expression of an idea that all is well and there is agreement amongst those in power. Often, this was only wishful thinking on the part of the emperor, who was soon to be murdered by the army and replaced by another ephemeral favorite. Her Greek name is Homonoia.
