Constantine I Small Bronze - 2 Soldiers, 2 Standards Reverse

GLORIA EXERCITVS Reverse Type
This coin, a small AE 3 type of Constantine I is a very popular type of Late Roman bronze amongst collectors of coins of that period. The coin can be attributed to this emperor rather than his son Constantine II by the broken obverse legend, CONSTANTI-NVS MAX AVG. The coin is catalogued as a Sear s3886 and LRBC 1117.
