This is another boldly struck Virtus type of Philip the Arab. Note the ornate parade helmet with the large horsehair crest. The little blob of metal on the flan at about 11:30 was probably left over from cutting the flans out of a sheet of coin silver alloy with a pair of metal shears. The workman who cut out the flans either got in a hurry or just missed this one when he was trimming them up.
